Ray is now officially the most prolific performer in ALL Rocky Horror history. He has been the only Frank-n-furter at the Rialto Theater since Halloween of 1980. That's right 28 straight years in a row. Ray was born to do this and we are happy as hell to have him with us. His penchant for campy vaudevillian antics has had audiences cheering him for three decades. It's been said, "On any given night, Ray is capable of stealing the whole show, if he chooses." He is the guiding spirit of this cast.
In the shows darkest times, it was Ray that fought to keep the tradition of Rocky Horror at the Rialto alive when he founded Rocky's Whores (RW) in November of 1999. Out of the ashes of an 19 year run with the cast of Voyeuristic Intention, Ray carried a new philosophy that opened the doors of the Rialto to not only new patrons but new Cast Members. Ray redefined Rocky at the Rialto and crafted a new spirit. In 2005 Ray gave up his cast leadership to DEVO. However, in 2008 DEVO gave it right back saying, "If this cast belongs to anyone, it is Ray". Now once again as the Director of Rocky at the Rialto, Ray represents a tradition that is older than most of our audience.
